This comprehensive, practical course focuses on the constitutional requirements and fundamentals of writing a search warrant. Students will prepare search warrants involving drugs, homicide, technology and other areas of interest. This intensive course requires students to complete several warrants and other assignments. Homework will be assigned on the first day. Students are required to bring a laptop. This course is strictly limited to sworn law enforcement only.
